Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has had a remarkable few years on the pitch. The England international has earned back-to-back Golden Boots after scoring 25 and 29 goals respectively in the last two Premier League seasons. At the age of 24, the forward has arguably become the first name on the teamsheet for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, and he has also captained his country. After failing to break his August hoodoo of not scoring, Kane has netted six goals in all competitions, and two came in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over West Ham United. Now, the Spurs academy product can add to his list of achievements after bettering a scoring record set by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.Opta has revealed that after scoring against West Ham, Kane now has a better minutes-per-goal ratio in London derbies than the French star.During his eight years at Arsenal, Henry scored every 114 minutes against London clubs, but now Kane has overtaken the striker.
Henry found the back of the net 228 times in total for the Gunners, and Kane still has a way to go to match him as the forward’s tally at Spurs is currently 105.
