Tottenham Hotspur fans will never be the first to congratulate London rivals West Ham United on a decent result, but they could not help but enjoy Saturday’s match at the London Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side earned a 3-1 victory over Manchester United thanks to goals from Felipe Anderson and Marko Arnautovic, as well as an own goal from Victor Lindelof.
It was a convincing win for the Hammers, and it was a result that plenty of Tottenham fans were happy with.
United are likely to be fighting Spurs for a place in the top four, therefore seeing one of their rivals lose will only boost their chances.
On Twitter, some Tottenham supporters poked fun at Jose Mourinho’s side, who have won just three of their seven Premier League matches this season.
Tottenham have already faced the North-West outfit this season and they came out on top in a 3-0 triumph.
The club have a five-point advantage over United in the table.
