Manchester City fans seem to be passionately against the signing of Isco from Real Madrid. The Spaniard has long been linked with the club and was reportedly targeted by Manuel Pellegrini back in 2013 before he joined Real Madrid.
The fans do not want to see the deal go through, as they believe they have a much better star in Phil Foden. The academy graduate is eight years younger than Isco, and will no doubt, therefore, be around for much longer.
Some supporters have also touched on the fact that the former Malaga man cannot get into the current Madrid side. It has been no secret that manager Zinedine Zidane is not his biggest fan, starting him in just 18 La Liga games back in 2016-17, and this season he has started just two.
The four-time Champions League winner does still have a great return on his statistics, however. In that 2016-17 year, he still managed to bag himself 10 league goals and provide eight assists.
Although, despite his proven qualities and still at the age of 27, City fans are tired of these rumours.
Here’s what some have had to say…
