Everton midfielder Andre Gomes returned to first-team training on Tuesday following a lengthy period on the sidelines.The 26-year-old suffered a fracture dislocation of his right ankle during his team’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at the start of November.The Portugal international was back on the training field on Tuesday, though, having made excellent progress in his recovery.

There are currently no indications when the former Barcelona midfielder might be available for first-team selection.
However, the news has gone down brilliantly with former Everton captain Kevin Ratcliffe, who took to social media to react to a post from Gomes.
Ratcliffe knows a little bit about turning out for the Toffees having made 359 league appearances for the club between 1980 and 1992.

And the 59-year-old, who also captained Wales during his professional career, said that the Portuguese had been “much missed” over the last few months.
